Play Pocket - Owners Guide

The Play Pocket is an affordable handheld emulation gaming console designed to play your favourite classics on the go. This guide contains essential information to help you get started with your device.

Ready to power up your Play Pocket? Let's jump into these key details.

Charging Your Device

To charge your Play Pocket, ensure that both the charging cable and power adapter are compatible. Connect the cable to the left port on the bottom of the device. A red light will show it's charging. If the light stays blue, the cable or charger might be incompatible. Keep it plugged in until the light goes out, signalling that the device is fully charged.

Basic Controls

Pro tip, pressing Select + Start together will exit the current game and bring you back to the main menu. This combination is especially useful for escaping frozen or crashed games without restarting the device.

Charging for the First Time and Low Voltage Alerts

When the battery is critically low, you’ll briefly see a "low voltage" warning. This means it’s time to charge urgently. If you're charging from an empty battery for the first time, the device might not power on right away. Just leave it to charge, and the battery will recover.

Battery Life Indicator

The battery life indicator can be a bit misleading. It may show 100% when first plugged in. For a more accurate reading, power off the device and wait until the light goes out before using it.
